Hong Kong might not sound like an obvious place to go sailing, but that's where a job took us in April – to test a boat designed by a Kiwi and built in China (and now in Turkey too) by a Brit with an office in Hong Kong.
The sailing in Hong Kong can be very good indeed and some of the scenery is stunning. The problem is the red tape and bureaucracy that appears to impose a severe restriction on it, but that's another story.
The boat on test was a boat with a difference, which will shortly be gracing the pages of a leading UK yachting magazine.
